Global Josei Academy offers the 4-week Global Josei Dojo for women professionals, companies and organizations to prepare and empower Japanese women professionals to work in a global environment. We provide multi-faceted support through individualized professional coaching, business English classes, cross-cultural communication workshops, self-analysis, and management skills development. Up to 10 participants per session.

[4-week Online Curriculum]

2021 Summer Program runs August 1 - August 28. Participants limited to 10. Register early.

1)  BUSINESS ENGLISH & CROSS-CULTURAL COMMUNICATION CLASSES

(Saturdays, 9-10:15 am)

Classes focus on building English skills and communication skills that are useful in business. We will incorporate your specific needs.

 

2)  PROFESSIONAL & MANAGEMENT WORKSHOPS (Saturdays, 10:30 - 11:45 am)

In these workshop, you will assess your strengths and traits, explore leadership styles that can be used in the U.S., learn the pitfalls of cross-cultural communication, practice team building, and discuss project management, and human resource management.

 

2)EMPOWERMENT COACHING

(Individual appointments, once every other week, 30-45 minutes)

Work one-on-one with a coach to leverage your strengths and conquer your weaknesses with power skills. You will set your own professional goals and develop an action plan to achieve them.

[Optional Boston/NYC Field Studies(7 - 10 days)]

Through dialogues with Japanese and American women who are active in the U.S., participants will learn about their strengths and challenges as women, work-life balance, etc. They will also visit sites to research how companies are promoting women. Participants are asked to decide their own research topics in advance and discuss their research methods with their teachers.

May be paid using PayPal or bank wire transfer.

6-week Online Program Fee                   $1,200

Optional Boston/NYC Field Studies Practicum Program Fee     $1,500 - $2,000

(Does not include travel expenses, passport application fees, and accommodation expenses)

* Additional private coaching and English communication classes can be arranged by request.
