Lived in Japan for 10 years and has 25+years of experience teaching English to Japanese clients in a variety of settings. These include Japanese companies in Japan and U.S., Community ESL programs, online study programs, and a Japanese university. Clients have included JEOL USA, RISO, Inc, Mitsubishi (at Raytheon Co.).
Experienced in assisting clients with setting and achieving language goals, improving English communication skills, and developing cross-cultural communication skills to work or study effectively in a different culture. Equips clients with tools to continue learning in the future.
She is passionate about helping Japanese with English communication and cultural competency skills as a way to give back to Japan in return for her positive experience living and working there.

She is a coach specializing in executive and professional coaching with emphasis on transformational leadership, career development and job transition.
Trained and certified as a coach by the U.S.A. Archery, specializing in Olympic recurve and mental management, she utilizes her experience and training in archery to teach mental toughness as a business skill.
